Loan Officer
Responsibilities:
- Generate mortgage loan applications and work closely with borrowers to gather necessary financial information and documentation.
- Evaluate loan applications, including creditworthiness, income verification, and collateral assessment, ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Advise clients on suitable mortgage loan options, explaining terms, interest rates, and repayment plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other potential referral sources to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with loan processors, underwriters, and other internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient loan origination process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in loan products, providing accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including fair lending practices.
Requirements:
- A valid Mortgage Loan Originator license [State specific] is required.
- Service and solutions oriented professional.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in sales and negotiations.
- Proficient in using loan origination software and other relevant tools.

- Knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Real Estate license is NOT required
